Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant discipline experience.
• Experience in project leadership roles.
• Experience in estimating project costs and writing proposal content.
• Strong technical and practical engineering skills and ability to deliver quality work.
• Knowledge of local and international standards and regulatory requirements.
• Strong understanding of civil earthworks design including environmental and geotechnical aspects.
• Fluent in English with excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Competent use of civil engineering software.
• Competent use of MS Office Suite.
• Substantial experience in civil engineering within multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver civil engineering services that meet Worley and client specifications on time and within budget.
• Supervise, guide and mentor junior and intermediate staff.
• Advise Lead Engineer and project management on environmental law requirements.
• Manage civil resource hours and schedule.
• Liaise with customers.
• Resolve discrepancies between Worley and customer requirements.
• Stay updated with latest civil engineering developments and innovations.
• Site earthwork planning and land development.
• Site grading and drainage design.
• Haul road and crossing design.
• Access roads and facilities infrastructure design.
• Railroad design.
• Prepare stormwater management plans including retention/detention ponds and E&S controls.
• Underground utilities design (culverts, subdrains).
• Prepare civil MTOs, project cost estimates, tender docs, and evaluations.
• Prepare/review civil specifications, calculations, and reports.
• Identify issues and develop solutions and request assistance when needed.
