Job summary

Worley is seeking a Technical Services Manager to lead technical services across complex projects, bridging strategy and execution. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, align resources with objectives, and drive continuous improvement in safety, quality and performance across energy, chemicals, and resources sectors.

You will influence project delivery, develop high-performing teams, and build strong customer relationships while delivering value and sustainable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in relevant fields.
• 10+ years of leadership, project management, and technical/operational responsibilities.
• Proven success leading teams within EPC, energy, chemicals, resources, or industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of project delivery, governance, and business processes.
• Ability to make independent decisions in dynamic environments.
• Experience delivering large projects or major project components.
• Knowledge of systems, tools, processes and technologies for technical services.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate data and propose solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Demonstrated leadership with coaching and accountability.
• Conflict resolution, change management, and influencing skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical services teams and manage day-to-day operations to support objectives.
• Translate strategy into tactical plans, activities, and measurable outcomes.
• Provide technical leadership to multidisciplinary teams across engineering and operations.
• Manage processes, policies, and procedures to align with standards and customers.
• Support planning and delivery of projects while balancing safety, cost, schedule, and quality.
• Drive operational excellence initiatives for productivity and standardization.
• Analyze complex issues and implement practical, sustainable solutions.
• Develop supervisors and project teams to maximize engagement and performance.
• Build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and leadership.
• Prepare proposals, business cases, and performance updates for leadership.
• Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities to improve delivery.
• Support workforce planning, talent development, and succession planning.
• Facilitate communication, resolve conflicts, and influence decisions across groups.
• Champion safety, quality, compliance and sustainability.
• Contribute to systems, processes and tools improvement to strengthen capability.
