Job summary

Worley is seeking a Senior Construction Manager in the United States to lead major power generation projects from planning through execution. You will translate objectives into actionable field strategies while guiding large multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, on‑time, and within-budget project outcomes.

You will collaborate with Project Directors, Engineering, Procurement, and Commissioning teams to optimize performance and enforce a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex, high‑impact construction projects or programs.
• Strong understanding of safety, quality, schedule, cost, and workforce performance.
• Proven ability to deliver results in large multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction execution across major power generation projects, aligning objectives with customer expectations.
• Develop and oversee integrated construction plans translating strategy into site delivery.
• Drive safety, quality, productivity, schedule adherence, and cost control.
• Provide leadership to Construction Managers, Area Managers, Superintendents, and contractors.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Understand customer objectives, contract requirements, risks, and policies for informed decisions.
• Monitor progress and implement corrective actions for schedule, cost, and quality gaps.
• Resolve complex field execution issues balancing technical and commercial factors.
• Support workforce planning, labor forecasting, and contractor management.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, project controls, commissioning, and startup teams for integrated delivery.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of construction systems, tools, and processes.
• Advocate sustainable construction practices aligned with company values.
