Job summary

Software Placement Group in Duluth, MN is seeking a Technical Service & Warranty Manager to lead warranty processing, field training, and technical support for hydraulic and mechanical equipment. This Direct Hire role emphasizes a strong technical authority in a modern manufacturing facility.

The candidate will train internal technicians and dealer personnel, work with engineering and sales on enhancements, and manage a central service database with potential travel for industry shows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hydraulic machinery technical experience.
• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical/hydraulic schematics with meters.
• Strong public speaking and mentoring skills.
• Citizen or green card; reside within commuting distance of Duluth, MN.

Responsibilities

• Primary technical point person for technicians, dealers and customers to resolve hydraulic and mechanical issues.
• Partner with engineering, product support, and sales to communicate machine performance data and design enhancements.
• Oversee warranty claims processing and the service database calendar.
• Develop repair procedures and training for up to 30 technicians, dealer reps, or customers.
• Complete 2–3 month field immersion with light travel ~3 weeks/year.
