Job summary

MissionHires is seeking a hands-on Technical Service & Warranty Manager for a privately held OEM manufacturer of high-performance heavy equipment and work tools. The role is primarily on-site in Duluth, MN with limited travel after an initial training immersion.

The ideal candidate has deep mobile hydraulic equipment expertise, strong communication skills, and a stable work history. You will lead warranty processing, field service coordination, and hydraulic diagnostic training.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical diagnostic experience with mobile heavy equipment and hydraulic machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret complex hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Hands-on troubleshooting hydraulic systems with diagnostic tools.
• Associate degree or hydraulic certification required or equivalent experience.
• Strong verbal communication and training skills for technicians, dealers, and customers.
• Experience coordinating field service work and warranty processing.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical support for field technicians, dealers, and customers.
• Lead diagnosis and root-cause analysis using hydraulic/electrical schematics and tools.
• Manage warranty claims, service records, and scheduling calendar.
• Collaborate with engineering, product support, and sales to communicate performance data.
• Develop repair procedures, service docs, and training materials.
• Deliver classroom and hands-on training for technicians and customers.
• Complete 2–3 month field-training immersion with experienced technicians.
• Support industry trade shows and occasional travel.
