Sterling Manufacturing LLC is seeking a Technical Service Representative to be the primary contact for customers and service technicians. You will process replacement parts orders, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely solutions in a manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer support, problem solving, and strong mechanical aptitude, with opportunities to work closely with field technicians and read equipment manuals.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience in technical support, equipment service, manufacturing, HVAC, foodservice equipment, appliance repair, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to diagnose problems over the phone using logical troubleshooting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service via phone and email.
• Assist customers in identifying and order the correct replacement parts.
• Process parts orders accurately and coordinate shipment or replacement parts.
• Follow up with customers to ensure issues have been resolved satisfactorily.
• Maintain detailed service records and customer communications.
• Document customer interactions, service recommendations, and order details.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose commercial steamers with customers and field service technicians.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, wiring diagrams, and part breakdowns.
