Job summary

Sun Chemical is seeking a Tech II Service Rep to support Central US customers with technical service for ink, printing and related processes. You will coordinate laboratory and manufacturing activities and provide market intelligence on customer needs and competitive actions.

The position requires a technical BS or 5–10 years of industry experience, strong verbal and written communication, proficiency in MS Office and SAP, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects with up to 70% travel.

Qualifications

• BS degree or 5-10 years of industry experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication, analytical and mathematical skills, and creative problem solving.
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
• Intermediate skill with Gantt charts.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects at once.
• High level of pressroom and printing process knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical service to customers with medium to high complexity.
• Manage trial activities for new opportunities.
• Coordinate ramp-up with sales and supply chain for new products.
• Advise on product selections based on end-use.
• Prepare technical call and trial reports.
• Lead or participate in strategic customer technical meetings.
• Maintain Salesforce records and complete reports.
