Job summary

Sun Chemical Corporation, a leading producer of packaging and graphic solutions, seeks a Technical Service professional for Central US. You will identify customer technical needs, oversee lab and manufacturing activities, and coordinate trials for new business opportunities.

The role requires a BS degree or 5–10 years of industry experience, strong communication, and expertise in MS Office and SAP. Travel is 70% with in-plant and customer collaboration across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• BS degree in a technical field or 5–10 years of industry experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication, analytical and problem solving.
• Proficiency with MS Office and SAP.
• Familiarity with Gantt charts and project scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical service to support Sun Chemical customers with high complexity.
• Coordinate trials and manage transitions for new business opportunities.
• Lead or participate in technical meetings with customers and internal teams.
• Provide fitness-for-use guidance and product recommendations per end-use spec.
• Document field activities in Salesforce and prepare trial reports.
• Drive process improvements using methodologies like Six Sigma or Kepner-Tregoe.
