Job Description and Requirements:

Penn State's Office of Physical Plant is hiring full-time Janitorial Workers. Responsibilities include:

• Collecting waste, cleaning chalkboards, and erasers.
• Dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and cleaning stairways and runners.
• Cleaning glass, mirrors, fixtures, and restrooms; stocking dispensers.
• Polishing furniture and brass.
• Maintaining cleaning equipment and materials.
• Locking doors, windows, and turning out lights.
• Reporting repairs to supervisors.

Requirements include basic math skills, ability to follow instructions, and up to 3 months of relevant experience.

Shifts:

• First shift: Monday - Friday, 5:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
• Second shift: Monday - Friday, 4:30 p.m. - 1:00 a.m.
• Third shift: Sunday evening - Friday morning, 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.
