Job Title: Facility Janitor

We are seeking a Facility Janitor to join our paper mill team. The ideal candidate will have experience in building maintenance, cleaning, and groundskeeping. Candidates must be self-motivated, dependable, responsible, and possess a professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Practice safe work habits while maintaining industrial facility buildings and grounds.
• Manage janitorial supplies and coordinate reordering with the supervisor.
• Keep custodial storage areas clean and organized.
• Report and assist with repairs as needed.
• Perform groundskeeping, snow and ice removal.
• Handle recycling collection and processing duties.
• Operate vehicles such as trucks and forklifts for work-related tasks.
• Post information on bulletin boards and participate in meetings and training.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Experience in custodial work, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Additional training for tasks like propane tank filling, dumpster emptying, and recycling processing.

Physical and Mental Requirements

Must be able to use hands and fingers, reach, walk, talk, smell, hear, stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, crouch, and crawl. Vision abilities required include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception. Must lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally. The work environment may include outdoor weather, hot conditions, chemicals, and loud noise; personal protective equipment is required.

Additional Details
