Alicat Scientific in Tucson, Arizona is seeking a Technical Sales & Support Engineer. You’ll be the frontline technical advisor, helping customers select solutions, build quotes, and resolve application challenges.

This on-site role collaborates with engineering, production, and marketing to ensure customer satisfaction and revenue growth, turning inquiries into long‑term relationships while supporting orders and CRM records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or related STEM field is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience or interest in fluid control, instrumentation, or automation.
• Familiarity with aerospace, bioprocessing, chemistry, environmental science, semiconductor tech, or optical sciences is a plus.
• Bonus if you’ve worked in technical sales, customer support, or application engineering.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for inbound inquiries via phone, email, and live chat.
• Qualify customer needs and recommend tailored solutions that align with technical and business goals.
• Build accurate, application-specific quotes and support conversions.
• Support OEMs and distribution partners with quoting and technical guidance.
• Troubleshoot flow instability, pressure regulation, and instrumentation issues.
• Maintain CRM records to support clear communication and order tracking.
