Alicat Scientific in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Technical Sales & Support Engineer to become the go-to expert for customers seeking mass flow solutions. After training, you will support sales conversions and deliver high-level technical support, guiding product selection and building accurate quotes.

You’ll collaborate with engineering, production, and marketing to ensure customer satisfaction, manage orders, and maintain CRM records for clear communication and timely fulfillment.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or related STEM field.
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience or interest in fluid control, instrumentation, or automation.
• Familiarity with fields such as aerospace, bioprocessing, chemistry, environmental science, semiconductor tech, or optical sciences.
• Bonus if you’ve worked in technical sales, customer support, or application engineering.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for inbound inquiries via phone, email, and live chat.
• Qualify customer needs and recommend tailored solutions that align with technical and business goals.
• Build accurate, application-specific quotes and follow up to drive conversions.
• Support OEMs and distribution partners with quoting and technical guidance.
• Troubleshoot flow instability, pressure regulation, and mechanical issues in pneumatics and fluid control.
• Remote diagnosis of hardware and software networking issues and device integration.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and marketing to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain CRM records and accurate order management for timely fulfillment.
