Job summary

Alicat Scientific is seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Specialist to support the full employee lifecycle for our U.S. workforce in Tucson, Arizona. This hands-on role covers day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and recruiting coordination for our Tucson-based team.

The position focuses on U.S. operations, does not cover international sites, and requires partnering with managers across manufacturing, engineering, sales, and corporate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive HR generalist/specialist experience; manufacturing preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. federal and Arizona state employment law.
• Experience with full-cycle recruiting and benefits administration.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary HR contact for U.S. employees on policies and workplace concerns.
• Support managers with performance management, coaching, and documentation.
• Assist with employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution.
• Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned requisitions and extend offers.
• Own onboarding process including paperwork, orientation, and 90-day check-ins.
• Partner with hiring managers across manufacturing, engineering, sales, and corporate functions to understand staffing needs.
• Administer U.S. employee benefits programs and coordinate open enrollment.
• Assist with compensation administration and job level documentation.
• Ensure compliance with federal and Arizona employment law and maintain accurate HR records.
