Job summary

Specialty Coating Systems, Inc. is seeking a Sales Support Engineer to assist technical sales and customer applications within the defined Americas region.

This role is ideal for a recent graduate or someone with related experience, offering a path into sales, engineering or marketing. You will collaborate with Territory Sales Managers and engineering teams to support new and existing applications, travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Technical, Business or Marketing major (technical discipline strongly preferred).
• Or an Associates degree and two or more years of related work experience in a sales or marketing capacity, preferably in a technical environment.
• Maintain a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Will need to obtain and maintain a valid U.S. passport if international travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical sales support within a defined region across the Americas.
• Work with Territory Sales Managers and engineering teams to support new and existing customer applications.
• Assist in developing new business opportunities and engaging with customers.
• Coordinate application development activities with internal teams and customers.
• Support the sales process from initial inquiry through application development.
• Travel within the region and to SCS facilities, trade shows and customer sites as needed.
• Gain experience in a developmental role with pathways into sales, engineering or marketing.
