Position Summary
- The Educational Solutions Consultant serves as a key technical ambassador and sales representative supporting the CTE (Career and Technical Education) market across Illinois. The consultant will represent cutting-edge products and curriculum solutions, working directly with secondary and postsecondary institutions to support their training goals. The role includes developing relationships with customers, understanding the workforce needs of regional industry, educating all partners about educational funding streams, generating sales revenue, overseeing equipment installations, and maintaining accurate CRM data.
- This is a high-impact, field-based position that blends educational advocacy with technical consultative selling.
Core Responsibilities
- Generate base threshold of product revenue annually through strategic territory development
- Cultivate and grow relationships with educators, administrators, and workforce partners
- Conduct pre-qualification and consultation to match solutions to educational needs
- Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and training sessions
- Showcase products at trade shows, expos, and on-site events
- Document all activity in Company CRM, including sales pipeline and strategy notes
- Collaborate with operations and service teams for smooth installation and customer satisfaction
- Participate in ongoing training and contribute to product line evaluations and market expansion
- Uphold Aidex’s commitment to educational excellence and industry relevance
Structure, Compensation, and Benefits
- Sales Territory: State of Illinois (K-12 education and post-secondary)
- Remote (Illinois-based; extensive statewide travel required)
- Full-Time, Salaried Exempt | Base Salary + Commission

Ideal Candidate Profile
- Passionate about education, CTE, and future workforce development
- Entrepreneurial mindset and a goal-oriented sales leader
- Comfortable engaging at all levels, from classroom instructors to superintendents
- Strong communication, organizational, and technical learning ability
- Experienced in B2B or education sales, especially in STEM or technical education
- Bachelor's degree or field experience in Business, Sales, Education, or Technical Role.
