AMVT LLC, based in Katy, Texas, seeks a Technical Sales Representative for the Pacific Northwest, primarily in Albany, Oregon. The role is hybrid, requiring frequent travel to demonstrate products, support customers, and close deals.

You will grow revenue by identifying needs, presenting solutions, and managing the full sales cycle, including aftersales service and training. Strong communication and persistence are essential.

Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field desirable.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to communicate professionally with customers and internal teams.
  • Willingness to travel frequently (Minimum 50% required).

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through prospecting, networking, and outreach.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Present products and services and explain their value to potential clients.
  • Meet or exceed individual sales and revenue targets.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing and aftermarket service.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and pipeline activity.
  • Report on sales forecast monthly to Senior Manager as required.
  • Complete weekly report on activities as required by Senior Manager.
  • Handle customer questions, objections, and concerns professionally.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.
  • Conduct market research.
  • Enter sales leads accurately in the company system.
  • Generate leads with cold calling and other marketing activities.
  • Follow up on warm leads to support ongoing sales efforts.
  • Organize trade show materials.
  • Attend and support trade shows, conferences, and customer demos.
  • Confirm machine leases and sell contract sorting services.
  • Conduct on-site product demonstrations, installations, and training for customers.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting both remotely and in person.
  • Coordinate sample testing and product evaluations for potential clients.

About Us:

AMVT LLC, based in Katy, Texas, specializes in the sales, support, and service of AI and sensor-based sorting equipment for food manufacturing, seed and grain processing, and recycling applications. Our product line includes Optical Sorters featuring full color RGB cameras, Infra-red, Deep AI Technology, and X-ray. We also supply metal detectors, checkweighers, packaging machines, and other processing and handling equipment. We are currently seeking a motivated and results-driven Technical Sales Representative for the Pacific Northwest based in at of our Albany, Oregon location.

Position Summary:

As a Technical Sales Representative you will be responsible for growing revenue by identifying customer needs, presenting solutions, and closing sales under direction of Senior Manager. This role requires strong communication skills, persistence, and the ability to build lasting client relationships. This job requires frequent travel for customer visits, attending industry events, conducting demonstrations, and performing service.
