Job summary

ITT Inc. in Arkansas seeks a qualified professional to supervise the preparation and management of technical and commercial proposals for pumps, replacements, upgrades, brownfield projects, contracts, PumpSmart, spare parts, and accessories within the ITT portfolio.

You will coordinate the Technical Sales Support team to ensure proposal quality, timeliness, compliance, and accurate order entry. The role requires a university degree in engineering, hands-on experience with pumps/rotating

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering.
• At least six months of experience in Engineering and commercial proposals; preferably two to three years with pumps, rotating equipment, or engineered products.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and ANSI, API, ASME, ISO, and HIS standards.
• Experience in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified companies.
• Upper intermediate spoken and written English is required.

Responsibilities

• Organize, prioritize, and distribute requests for quotation received from customers or Sales, including requests related to claims, and assign proposals to estimators based on complexity and deadlines.
• Oversee RFQ, specification, and data sheet reviews and the preparation of proposals, technical and commercial forms, pricing summaries, and legal and ESH documentation, coordinating with Operations, Finance, Legal, and other functions as needed.
• Ensure appropriate technical selection of pumps and components using ITT tools, identification of exceptions, and coordination with factories, value centers, Engineering, and Sales Operations; clarify ambiguous requirements with customers.
• Review the quality and submission of final proposals, including pricing decisions with Engineering or Sales Management, and coordinate delivery to customers or the Sales team.
• Provide technical guidance to the team and customers on product applications and specifications; occasionally join customer visits, support proposals, and identify business opportunities.
• Train and monitor new team members and interns; participate in weekly Sales meetings and communicate proposal status and issues requiring management attention.
• Ensure eQl and proposal databases are current and oversee purchase order review and entry, clean order requirements, handoff to Operations, and acceptance letters when discrepancies arise.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures for prioritization, PSF submissions, export licenses, imports, order entry documentation, credit requests, and IP-500, aligning internal requirements with customer commercial terms.
• Route customer claims under the applicable Operations procedure and encourage team participation in technical and commercial conferences and training.
