Job summary

ITT Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Application Engineer to support our Municipal business. The role involves pump selections, scope of supply development, P&ID reviews, and using Goulds Pumps quoting software.

While primarily supporting distributors, there may be direct quotes to customers. Located in Houston, TX, Colfax NC, or Chicago IL, with remote consideration available. The applicant will work with internal teams, customers and vendors to deliver technical support, develop proposals,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Distribution, or a related technical field is required.
Experience with rotating equipment, preferably centrifugal pumps, is preferred.
Ability to generate technical quotations and process orders.
Strong communication and collaboration with distributors and customers.

Responsibilities

Review customer specifications, P&ID’s and tender documents to prepare proposals.
Select optimal centrifugal pump configurations using proprietary software.
Generate scope of supply documentation and submit orders accurately.
Provide technical support to distributors and customers and respond to inquiries promptly.
Interface with external vendors to obtain quotes for auxiliary equipment.
Process and manage orders from quote to delivery.
Act as liaison between distributors/customers and internal teams.
Support strategy and customer engagement during pre-award meetings.
