Job summary

Concrete Careers is seeking a highly motivated Technical Sales Representative on the East Coast with hands-on knowledge of concrete materials. This role owns technical sales and field support for a defined territory, driving product adoption and revenue growth among contractors, engineers, and DOT stakeholders.

The successful candidate will build long-term relationships, lead discovery-to-close conversations, and provide pre-pour guidance and on-site support to ensure performance and customer

Qualifications

• Construction industry experience required; understanding of how concrete projects are sold.
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, materials science, chemistry, or related field OR 10+ years in concrete contracting/ready-mix/admixtures.
• 3+ years of technical sales or field sales within construction or concrete.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow a defined territory by identifying and closing new opportunities.
• Engage contractors, engineers, architects, and DOT reps to build a pipeline.
• Develop long-term relationships to drive repeat business.
• Lead sales conversations from discovery to close with technical value.
• Provide pre-pour guidance and field support at concrete placements.
• Conduct product demonstrations and collect samples.
• Troubleshoot field concerns and maintain customer relationships.
• Deliver technical presentations and lunch-and-learns for engineers.
• Maintain CRM activity and track sales metrics.
