Job summary

ClickHouse is seeking a Manager of Commercial Sales, remote-enabled in the US West region, to lead a high-velocity, technically fluent AE team selling data infrastructure solutions. You will own attainment, coach reps, and directly engage in complex deals with engineering buyers, shaping the team’s growth and the motion as the company scales.

• Track record of success as a quota-carrying AE in a technical sales environment.
• Experience leading or mentoring other sellers.
• Technical credibility to discuss architecture and data stacks with engineers.
• Strong commercial instincts with honest forecast conversations.
• Builder mentality comfortable with ambiguity and shaping playbooks.
• Genuine investment in people development and coaching.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Commercial Account Executives selling into the sub-250 employee segment.
• Own the Commercial segment number: attainment, pipeline health, and forecast accuracy.
• Spend time in deals: review deals and join conversations when needed.
• Hire exceptional people and scale the right commercial talent.
• Build the playbook: codify best practices for technical discovery and deal progression.
• Partner with Solutions Engineering, Product, and Marketing for support and feedback.
• Identify patterns in the pipeline to improve performance and inform GTM decisions.
• Contribute to broader Commercial strategy, including segmentation and coverage models.
