Job summary
ClickHouse is seeking a Manager of Commercial Sales for the West to lead a technically savvy AE team focused on the US West remote market with strong San Francisco interest.
You will coach, develop, and own the segment's numbers, pipelines, and forecast, while embedding yourself in deals and building scalable playbooks.
This role requires hands-on leadership, the ability to navigate complex data infrastructure conversations, and a commitment to outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Commercial Account Executives selling into sub-250 employee segment.
- Own the Commercial segment number, pipeline health, and forecast.
- Spend time in deals, review deals, join customer conversations when it matters, and help reps navigate the technical and commercial complexity.
- Hire exceptional people who are technically credible and commercially hungry, able to operate without hand-holding.
- Build the playbook by documenting what’s working and codifying best practices.
- Partner cross-functionally with Solutions Engineering, Product, and Marketing to provide support and feedback loops.
- Identify patterns across the pipeline to improve team performance and inform product and GTM decisions.
- Contribute to the broader Commercial strategy, including segmentation and how the motion scales.
