Job summary

Orica is seeking a Technical Sales & Services Lead within the Specialty Mining Chemicals team for North America. You will serve as regional technical and commercial lead, identifying opportunities and providing metallurgical and process engineering support to mining customers across the USA and Canada.

The role emphasizes cyanide technologies, process control, and environmental compliance, with a focus on growth, tenders, and strategic account management. Travel within North America is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant technical, operational, commercial or consulting experience.
• Experience in mining, minerals processing or chemicals industries.
• Strong project management with demonstrated business results.
• Ability to engage with customer stakeholders at all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supports implementation of advanced dissolution technologies including Sparge and Solid-to-Liquid Systems (SLS).
• Supports deployment, optimisation and aftermarket technical support of Cyantific Cyanide Analysers.
• Develops regional growth strategies aligned with Specialty Mining Chemicals objectives and contributes to EBIT.
• Builds and maintains trusted relationships with metallurgists, process engineers, and procurement teams.
