Job summary
ME Elecmetal, Inc. seeks a Technical Director – North America to drive the company’s technical strategy across North America, translating customer challenges in comminution and the mining value chain into engineered, value-driven solutions.
You will lead Product Design, New Product Development, Materials Engineering, and Mineral Process Engineering while coordinating with Global R&D and the Simulation Center of Excellence to ensure technical excellence and innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, Mining Engineering or related field.
- Advanced engineering degree preferred.
- 15+ years mining ops or equipment experience if no formal degree.
- 10+ years experience in mining ops, equipment, mineral processing, or industrial manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute North American technical strategy.
- Lead Product Design and New Product Development teams.
- Coordinate with Global R&D and Simulation Center of Excellence.
- Mentor technical talent and manage budgets.
- Communicate technical recommendations to executive leadership.
