Job summary

Trane Technologies in the United States invites students to join a hands-on Summer Internship in Technical Sales, exploring how HVAC systems, building automation, and service solutions come together to meet customer needs.

As a Technical Sales Intern, you will work with Sales Account Managers, learn the design, application and sale of commercial equipment, and develop communications, leadership and sales skills for a career with Trane Technologies.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree throughout the entire duration of the internship.
• Willingness to learn in technical fields and sales contexts.
• Preferably in Business, Management, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Marketing or Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand design, application and sale of HVAC systems, controls, parts and services.
• Attend sales meetings, business functions, and customer visits with experienced teams.
• Be hands-on in the steps sales engineers take from start to finish during the internship.
