Job summary

Trane Technologies is offering a 12-week Summer internship in Technical Sales across North America. You will work with Sales Account Managers to learn the design, application and sale of HVAC systems, building automation and related services.

Eligible candidates are actively enrolled in an Engineering degree and have completed at least sophomore year. Some positions may be remote, hybrid, or onsite at facilities in North America.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering throughout the entire duration of the summer internship.
• Must have completed at least sophomore year before the start of the internship.
• U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Candidate should have a passion for continuous learning in technical fields.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand the design, application and sale of HVAC systems, controls, parts, and services.
• Attend sales meetings, business functions, and customer meetings with experienced account managers.
• Understand steps sales engineers take from start to finish and be hands-on in those steps.
• Build relationships with customers as the daily point-of-contact in the solution-making process.
