Job summary

Trane Technologies is offering a 12-week Summer internship in Technical Sales across North America. You will collaborate with Sales Account Managers, learn HVAC system design and sales processes, and gain hands-on experience while exploring a potential Graduate Training Program after graduation. Actively enrolled in an Engineering bachelor’s or master’s program, you must be a U.S.

citizen or eligible to work in the U.S. with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering throughout the summer internship.
• U.S. citizen or legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Demonstrates a passion for continuous learning in technical fields.
• Some roles may be remote; others hybrid or onsite across North America.
• Possess a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand design, application and sale of HVAC systems, controls, parts and services.
• Attend sales meetings and field activities with mentors and account managers.
• Learn the steps sales engineers take from start to finish and participate hands-on.
• Build strong relationships with customers as daily contact for solutions.
