Job summary

Trane Technologies offers a 12-week summer internship in Technical Sales across North America. You will collaborate with Sales Account Managers, learn the design and sale of HVAC systems, and gain hands-on experience through sales meetings, site visits, and mentorship. This program may lead to the Graduate Training Program after graduation.

Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree and a willingness to travel up to 15% are required. U.S.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree for the entire duration of the internship.
• Must have completed at least the sophomore year before the start of the internship.
• U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• This posting is for multiple opportunities; some roles may be remote, hybrid, or onsite across North America.
• Possess a valid driver’s license with no major infractions in the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand design, application and sale of HVAC systems, controls, parts and services.
• Attend sales meetings, functions, calls, and customer visits with mentors.
• Understand steps sales engineers take from start to finish and participate hands-on.
• Build relationships with customers as a daily point of contact in the solution-making process.
