Job summary

Trane Technologies is offering a 12-week Summer internship in Technical Sales across North America. You’ll work with Sales Account Managers, learn about HVAC systems, building automation, and the sales process from design to delivery.

Multiple opportunities may be remote, hybrid, or onsite at facilities across North America. The program develops leadership, communication, and technical skills, with a path toward a Graduate Training Program after graduation.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree throughout the summer internship.
• U.S. citizen or able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Interest in technical fields and engineering solutions.
• Posting covers multiple locations; some roles may be remote or hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand design, application, and sale of systems, controls, parts, and services.
• Attend sales meetings, business functions, calls, and customer meetings with mentors.
• Learn steps sales engineers take from start to finish during the internship.
• Build relationships with customers as a daily point-of-contact in the solution process.
