Job summary

Trane Technologies offers a 12‑week Summer internship in Technical Sales, located on-site in North America. You will work with Sales Account Managers, learn the design and sale of HVAC systems, and gain hands-on experience across service, equipment, and building automation divisions.

The program targets students with ongoing bachelor’s or master’s studies in business, management, sales, or engineering, and requires U.S. work eligibility and a drive for learning.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree for the duration of the internship.
• Candidates must have completed at least their sophomore year before start date.
• U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with peers across North America on sales engineering projects.
• Learn design, application, and sale of HVAC systems, controls, parts and services for commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings.
• Attend sales meetings and customer visits with account managers, and understand the steps of a sales engineering project.

Education

Bachelor's/Master's degree enrollment preferred in Business, Management, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Engineering
