Job summary

Fortress Safety is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to own the Northeast US sales cycle, from discovery to close. You’ll translate complex technical concepts to executives and engineers, delivering tailored demonstrations and ROI-focused proposals. This hybrid/remote role requires regional travel and strong collaboration with engineering and support teams.

Based in the Baltimore–Boston corridor, you’ll drive new business in Machinery Safety, Warehouse Automation, and related sectors.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Hands-on experience in a Sales Engineer/Technical Consultant role.
Proven track record in new business development and meeting sales targets.
Experience in Machinery Safety, Warehouse Automation, or Food & Beverage preferred.
Willingness to travel up to 40% within Northeast corridor.

Responsibilities

Identify, prospect, and qualify new client opportunities across designated sectors.
Develop strategic plans to penetrate markets and expand Fortress Safety footprint.
Build a robust pipeline via networking, referrals, and marketing collaboration.
Lead technical discovery and design tailored proposals with ROI demonstrations.
Serve as liaison between customers and internal teams to drive solutions.
