Job summary

Fortress Safety, part of Halma plc, is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer for the Northeast US. This hybrid/remote role covers Baltimore to Boston, with a base salary of $100,000 and uncapped OTE. A $850/month car allowance is included, and relocation to Kentucky is not required.

You will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to solution design and close, targeting Machinery Safety, Warehouse Automation, and Food & Beverage sectors. Ability to travel up to 40% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience in a Sales Engineer/Technical consultant role.
• Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new client opportunities within Machinery Safety, Warehouse Automation, and Food & Beverage.
• Design tailored solution proposals and deliver product demonstrations.
• Lead technical discovery sessions and translate customer needs to internal teams.
• Build a robust pipeline and maintain relationships with key technical stakeholders.
