Job summary

Elyria Foundry and Hodge Foundry, long-established iron casting manufacturers, invite a Technical Sales Engineer for a full-time hybrid role in the Greater Cleveland area. You will identify customer needs, prepare technical proposals, and recommend casting solutions aligned with performance, cost, and manufacturing requirements.

Day-to-day work includes hunting for sales opportunities, managing accounts, visiting plants and customers, collaborating with engineering and production, and supporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or related field or equivalent practical experience in industrial sales
• 5+ years of Foundry Sales and/or engineering experience in metals industry
• Experience with No bake and Green Sand-Casting processes preferred
• Ability to translate customer requirements into feasible casting solutions
• Strong communication for clear proposals and stakeholder collaboration
• Willingness to travel up to 75-80% and work on-site in Greater Cleveland

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and prepare technical proposals for casting solutions
• Hunt for sales opportunities and manage current accounts
• Visit plants and customers, collaborate with engineering and production
• Provide technical support during quotation and order fulfillment
• Build and maintain customer relationships and assist negotiations
• Track market trends and support sales forecasts and planning
