Our Hodge Foundry location began operation in 1876 and built a reputation for quality casting from its Greenville, Pennsylvania location. Position: Casting Finisher

Work Hours: 3am-11:30pm or 1:30pm if OT

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean castings by removing fins, burnt‑on sand, and excess metal per required specifications in preparation for customer shipment.
• Operation of overhead cranes and/or jib cranes (pendant and radio controlled) to place castings at workstation and shipment area. Select the appropriate heavy chains and hooks for casting size, shape, and weight.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks, weigh‑in trucks as necessary, use scale and record data.
• Clean‑up of workstation and surrounding work areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to follow work instructions and desire to learn.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

• Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials during your shift.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable wearing full respiratory safety equipment.
• Standing and bending for long periods of time.
• Indoor and outdoor climate conditions during all seasons and in varying temperatures.

Job Type:

Full Time. Hourly, non‑exempt.
