Job summary

Copeland is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to join the Cold Chain Technical Sales team. You will partner with OEM customers, learn Copeland control portfolios, and apply these controls to end-user applications.

You will work with Account Executives and cross-functional teams to specify, implement, and expand Copeland controls and services. The role requires a BS in Engineering or related field, 2 years in food retail/service engineering or technical support, and travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Two years of food retail or foodservice product development/engineering/field service/technical support experience.
• Knowledge of Copeland control systems for Food Retail/Foodservice including E3, Site Supervisor, and distributed controls.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted customer partner and technical subject matter expert for refrigeration, HVAC and lighting controls and services.
• Act as OEM application expert and collaborate with the sales team on customer engagements.
• Create high-level technical requirements for new OEM opportunities including BOM, integrations, panels, and control files.
• Collaborate with Copeland execution teams to ensure deployment of controls and services.
• Travel 40-50% as required.
