Job summary

Vishay Precision Group, Inc. (VPG) is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer for the Foil Division Sales team in the Northwestern US. The role combines technical depth with business development to drive design wins and grow OEM relationships.

You will collaborate with engineers, distributors, and internal teams to provide application support, conduct technical presentations, and manage opportunities from concept through implementation. Travel up to 50-70% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or related technical field.
• 3+ years in Technical Sales, Field Applications Engineering, or related customer-facing engineering role.
• Experience supporting OEM customers in semiconductor, industrial, aerospace, defense, medical, or electronics markets.
• Willing to travel up to 50-70% regionally and reside within the designated territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop new design-win opportunities and expand existing customer accounts.
• Provide application support, design reviews, and troubleshooting assistance throughout the design cycle.
• Build relationships with engineering, purchasing, and business stakeholders; partner with distributors to drive growth.
