Job summary
Vishay Precision Group, Inc. (VPG) is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer for the Foil Division in the Northwestern US.
You will drive design wins, support customer applications, and grow business within a designated territory, collaborating with engineers, distributors, and internal teams. This role combines technical leadership, business development, and account management to help OEM customers bring innovative products to market.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or related technical discipline.
- 3+ years in Technical Sales, Field Applications Engineering, or related customer-facing role.
- Experience supporting OEM customers in semiconductor, industrial, aerospace, defense, medical, or electronics markets.
- Willing to travel up to 50–70% regionally and reside within the designated territory.
Responsibilities
- Develop design-win opportunities and expand existing customer accounts.
- Execute territory growth plans with Sales and Account Management teams.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Provide technical leadership, support through the design cycle, and troubleshooting assistance.
