Job summary

Vishay Precision Group, Inc. (VPG) seeks a Technical Sales Engineer for the Foil Division in the Northwestern US. The role combines technical leadership with account management and business development to win design opportunities and grow key customer relationships.

You will work with engineers, distributors, and internal teams, providing application support from concept through implementation, delivering design reviews, and helping customers bring innovative products to market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or related technical field.
• 3+ years in Technical Sales or field applications engineering.
• Experience supporting OEMs in semiconductor, industrial, aerospace, defense, medical, or electronics.
• Willingness to travel up to 50–70% and reside in designated territory.
• Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop design-win opportunities and expand key accounts.
• Support customers through the design cycle with application support.
• Build relationships with engineering, purchasing, and business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Quality, Operations, and Manufacturing.
• Maintain CRM activity and forecast opportunities.
