Kontakt.io in New York is seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to lead full-cycle hiring for Engineering roles. You will partner with engineering leaders, define role requirements, and build pipelines to attract top software engineers.

This hybrid role requires 5–7 years of recruiting experience, strong sourcing skills (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search), and a proven track record closing passive candidates in competitive tech markets. Equity and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Competenze

• 5–7 years of recruiting experience, with significant hands-on experience recruiting Software Engineering and technical talent.
• Demonstrated experience owning full-cycle technical recruiting, from hiring manager intake and sourcing through interviewing, offer negotiation, and close.
• Proven success identifying, engaging, and closing highly sought-after passive Engineering candidates in competitive talent markets.
• Experience working within or recruiting for organizations known for a strong technical hiring bar and highly selective Engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of Engineering profiles and the ability to evaluate candidates based on technical environment, experience, scope, impact, and career trajectory.
• Experience recruiting across Frontend, Backend, Full Stack, Infrastructure/Cloud, Data, AI/ML, and other Engineering disciplines.
• Strong hiring manager partnership skills, with the ability to manage searches, provide market intelligence, calibrate on talent, and influence hiring decisions.
• Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and advanced sourcing techniques, including Boolean search, talent mapping, and creative approaches to passive candidate identification.

• Own the end-to-end recruiting process for Engineering roles, from intake and sourcing through interviews, offer, negotiation, and close.
• Partner with hiring managers and Engineering leaders to define role requirements and establish what exceptional talent looks like for each search.
• Proactively identify, engage, and screen high-quality passive Engineering candidates and manage them throughout the full interview process.
• Conduct thoughtful, credible candidate screens that assess experience, technical environment, career trajectory, motivations, and alignment.
• Calibrate on the technical bar with interviewers and hiring managers, facilitate debriefs, and drive timely hiring decisions.
• Own candidate communication throughout the process, ensuring a high-touch and organized experience from initial outreach through close.
• Develop offer strategies and lead offer conversations and negotiations in partnership with hiring managers and leadership.
• Build targeted talent maps and sourcing pipelines using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, technical communities, referrals, and other channels.
