Job summary

Unusual Machines, a U.S.-based drone and FPV company, is seeking an experienced recruiter to own full-cycle recruiting across engineering, manufacturing, operations, and corporate functions for its Orlando-based team.

You will partner with hiring managers to define needs, source passive talent, assess candidates, close hires, and build durable pipelines while promoting an exceptional candidate experience and the company’s innovative brand.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recruiting experience, ideally in technical manufacturing aerospace robotics or drones.
• Proven success recruiting across both technical and non-technical functions.
• Strong full-cycle recruiting and sourcing skills.
• Ability to build credibility and partnerships with hiring managers at all levels.
• Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting across engineering, manufacturing, operations, and corporate functions.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand talent needs and build effective recruiting strategies.
• Source, engage, assess, and close high-quality candidates, including hard-to-find passive talent.
• Build strong talent pipelines for both current and future hiring needs.
• Keep searches moving with urgency, accountability, and strong communication.
• Provide hiring managers with market insight, candidate feedback, and guidance throughout the process.
• Help continuously improve our recruiting processes, candidate experience, and employer brand.
