Job summary

Mitchell Lewis & Staver is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support customers, outside sales, and operations teams from our Oregon location. The role involves handling calls, processing orders, and learning the ERP system while maintaining accurate communications and service levels.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in inside sales or customer service, familiarity with Microsoft Office, and a basic understanding of pump terminology.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service environment with inbound and outbound calls.
• Basic proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience in agricultural, residential, or industrial pumping is preferred.
• Experience with rotating equipment, pumps, and motors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Initiate outbound calls to discuss products, solutions, and value adds.
• Communicate promotions, discounts, and offers to customers.
• Handle incoming calls, messages, and email flow efficiently.
• Submit sales orders using the appropriate software.
• Learn and use the ERP system at a basic level.
• Perform general customer service duties and order entry.
• Enter direct ship and purchase orders into the system.
• Understand pump sizing terminology like GPM, TDH, voltage, phase, and amps.
