Job summary

Flow Control Group is seeking an Inside Sales/Customer Support professional to support Southeast Pump Specialist, Inc. in Florida and across the region. You will respond to inquiries, build customer relationships, and identify sales opportunities to drive quotes and orders.

The role requires experience in inside sales or customer service within industrial markets, plus comfort with CRM/ERP systems and Microsoft Office. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of inside sales, customer service, industrial sales, or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to customer inquiries by phone, email, and other channels.
• Develop strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs, applications, and purchasing requirements.
• Identify sales opportunities and follow up on quotes, leads, and customer requests.
• Support outside sales representatives with customer communication, quotations, product information, and order management.
• Maintain regular communication with customers throughout the sales process.
• Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for pumps, parts, accessories, and related equipment.
• Review customer specifications, drawings, and requirements to determine appropriate products.
• Work with manufacturers, engineering, and suppliers to identify the correct pump or equipment for an application.
• Provide customers with product information, pricing, lead times, and technical documentation.
• Follow up on open quotations and convert opportunities into orders.
• Process customer purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
• Verify pricing, specifications, quantities, delivery requirements, and shipping information.
• Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, service, and operations to ensure orders are completed on time.
• Communicate order status, delays, changes, and delivery information to customers.
• Assist with resolving customer issues and discrepancies.
• Develop new business opportunities with existing and prospective customers.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales information within the company's CRM or ERP system.
• Track quotations, sales opportunities, and customer follow-ups.
• Identify replacements, upgrades, and additional equipment opportunities.
• Work toward established sales, margin, and customer-service goals.
