PumpTech is hiring for an Application Engineer/Inside Sales Representative to join our Bellevue team. You will develop practical pump system solutions, evaluate customer requirements, and configure products to meet specific specs while coordinating with sales and manufacturing.

The role requires an engineering/manufacturing background and 2-3+ years in technical support or sales, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. This is a full-time, on-site position in Bellevue.

Qualifications

• Engineering/Manufacturing background preferred in pump hydraulics or related systems.
• 2-3+ years of technical support/sales experience.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to prioritize activities.
• Math skills including basic algebra and ability to read graphs.
• Experience working with customers in defining product needs.
• Ability to problem-solve to arrive at best solution.
• Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills.
• Strong project and time management skills.
• Willingness to work in a dog-friendly Bellevue office.

Responsibilities

• Develop pump system solutions using existing products to meet customer requirements.
• Evaluate specifications to determine pump selection and system components.
• Apply hydraulics knowledge to municipal water, wastewater, industrial, food, and petrochemical applications.
• Configure products to meet customer specs and performance needs.
• Collaborate with design/manufacturing to address unique applications and provide cost-effective solutions.
• Prepare detailed quotations, technical submittals, BOMs.
