Job summary

Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic Project Manager to lead all aspects of assigned projects from planning and scheduling to procurement and closeout. You will be the key interface with customers, ensuring safety, quality, and positive cash flow while delivering results.

The role requires coordination of engineering, installation, start-up and project closeout, with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and team collaboration to drive projects to successful completion.

Qualifications

• Project management experience in a technical environment (building automation, fire alarm, electronic security or AV systems).
• Coaching, mentoring, and staff development skills; leadership orientation and role modeling.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to influence and build consensus.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects typically valued up to $1M from award through completion, including site management and planning.
• Translate customer needs into proposals and implementation plans; review costs and negotiate contracts; support sales.
• Maintain project records, schedules, material flow, and cost reporting; ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Coordinate procurement of materials and subcontractors; manage risk and cost deviations.
• Lead project team and stakeholders; ensure customer satisfaction and quality standards.
