Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Project Manager to lead all aspects of assigned projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and field installation. You will interface with customers to maximize satisfaction, safety, and quality, while ensuring projects stay within budget and on time.

Qualifications

• Project management experience in a technical environment (building automation, fire alarm, electronic security and AV systems).
• Coaching, mentoring and staff development; strong leadership orientation.
• Team leadership and facilitation skills.
• Initiative and proactive behavior; ability to influence and build consensus.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Financial analytical skills including cost control.
• Knowledge of Security Systems and Access Control.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned projects from award to closeout within budget and schedule.
• Prepare project installation plan and manage procedures.
• Translate customer needs into proposals and project implementation plans; assist with cost estimates and contracts.
• Communicate project requirements to team and maintain records of status and changes.
• Manage procurement of materials and subcontractors for timely completion.
• Monitor project costs and adjust plans to meet financial goals.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and customer requirements.
