Job summary

Blink UX in Charlotte is seeking a Program Manager for a 3-4 month onsite engagement with a financial client. You will lead complex technical programs from planning through launch, ensuring schedules, budgets, and risks stay on track while coordinating vendors and leadership teams.

The role emphasizes strong planning, governance, and communication skills, with responsibilities spanning scope control, testing sign-off, and knowledge transfer to operations. On-site in Charlotte is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of program or project management experience supporting technical initiatives.
• Proven experience managing large-scale programs with multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and dependencies.
• Strong background in integrated project planning, scheduling, and critical path management.
• Experience creating and managing RACI matrices and maintaining RAID logs.
• Demonstrated success managing fixed-bid or fixed-price projects, including scope, change control, and contractual governance.
• Experience coordinating software releases, deployment readiness, and acceptance processes.
• Strong financial management skills, including budget tracking, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost control.
• Experience managing third-party suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of commitments.
• Ability to prepare and present program status, risks, financials, and recommendations to executive leadership.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall project schedule, key milestones, and dependencies across teams.
• Oversee project scope and coordinate any approved changes.
• Track risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies, and drive them to resolution.
• Ensure release requirements are met and manage testing, acceptance, and final sign-off.
• Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and spending, identifying concerns early and recommending solutions.
• Coordinate and manage vendors and subcontractors to ensure commitments are met.
• Provide regular updates on project status, budget, and risks to leadership and steering committees.
• Lead project closeout activities, including documentation, knowledge transfer, and transition to the operations team.
