We are seeking a Business Project Manager to join our team.

Pay rate:$50-53/hr on w2

Overview

Seeking an experienced Business Project Manager to support major financial product partner transition — coordinating complex, high-volume cross-functional workstreams to ensure the program is fully prepared for key milestones, testing readiness, and customer facing launches. This role serves as the central coordination point between internal teams and external banking partners, translating leadership-level agreements into working-team execution, driving partner accountability, and keeping all workstreams aligned against shared deadlines.

The role partners closely with Engineering PMO, Product, Operations, Analytics, Legal, and Marketing — with regular visibility into VP and senior leadership audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a central point of coordination between internal teams and external partners, translating leadership-level agreements into working-team execution.
• Flag misalignments, risks, or gaps early and elevate with clear, VP-ready framing.
• Produce concise, action-oriented status updates for leadership audiences.
• Partner closely with our Engineering PMO team to align program dependencies, timelines, and technical readiness.
• Serve as the central coordination point across internal teams and external partners, ensuring alignment on deliverables, timelines, and accountability across all program workstreams
• Own and maintain structured tracking — radars, project plans, trackers, and status docs — to provide a clear, auditable view of decisions, owners, and open items
• Track and hold external partners accountable to committed delivery timelines, escalating blockers and driving resolution across organizational boundaries

Required Experience

• Proven ability to operate autonomously coordinating multiple workstreams across in simultaneously in a large, matrixed organization.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, manage ambiguity, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong experience working with external partners or vendors, including managing accountability across organizational boundaries.
• Comfort building and maintaining structured trackers, project plans, and status reporting (Numbers, Quip, Keynotes, or similar).
• Excellent written and verbal communication — able to produce clear, concise, leadership-facing updates.

Role Profile

• Preferred Domain: Strong PM rigor is the priority — structured program and project management with cross-functional coordination experience.
• Prior exposure to financial services, fintech, or card, banking, or savings product programs is strongly preferred given the complexity and regulatory nature of this space

Years of Experience

5–8 years of program and project management experience, including at least 2–3 years in a cross-functional or external partner-facing coordination role in financial services or a similarly regulated environment

Visibility: High — regular exposure to VP and senior leadership through status reporting and escalations; role sits at the intersection of internal teams and external partners across multiple concurrent workstreams

Autonomy: High — expected to independently manage workstreams, identify and classify risks, drive resolution, and make judgment calls on prioritization and escalation with minimal day-to-day oversight
