Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager for the Data Center Incidents and Availability team. You will lead complex, cross-functional programs from requirements through delivery, focusing on preventing incidents and improving uptime across global data centers.

You will collaborate with SREs, GSO, and facilities teams to implement standardized processes, postmortems, and training. The role requires strong communication, travel up to 30%, and the ability to explain both business and technical

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in program management.
• Experience in data center power and cooling infrastructure.
• Experience with root cause analysis (RCA).

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end incident management process, from real-time response to RCA actions.
• Participate in on-call rotation for critical incident response.
• Liaison with regional counterparts and program owners to ensure global collaboration.
• Coordinate with campus members, Tech Incident Response Team, network security, and crisis groups to communicate incidents.
