Job summary

Google seeks a Technical Program Manager for the Data Center Incidents and Availability (DCIA) team to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You will plan requirements, identify risks, manage schedules, and communicate with executives and engineers.

This role collaborates with Site Reliability, Global Server Operations, and Facility teams to prevent user impact and data loss. Individual pay is determined by skills, experience, and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in program management.
• Experience in data center power and cooling infrastructure.
• Experience with root cause analysis (RCA).

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end incident management process, from real-time response and investigation to scalable root cause analysis findings and corrective actions.
• Participate in on-call rotation supporting critical incident response.
• Liaison with regional counterparts and program owners to ensure global collaboration.
• Coordinate with campus members, incident response teams, and security groups to communicate incidents clearly.
