Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Technical Project Manager in San Diego, CA to oversee unmanned maritime vehicle programs, ensure testing and acceptance, and coordinate with NIWC Pacific. The role emphasizes leadership across vehicle R&D and production, managing schedules, and ensuring government compliance.

The position requires a Secret clearance, on-site work on a 9/80 schedule, and the ability to coordinate with industry partners and government stakeholders to deliver tested and certified assets.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain TOP SECRET security clearance; active SECRET clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Process-oriented with strong leadership and ability to manage small teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with NIWC vehicle SMEs to review vehicle system data and address unforeseen technical issues.
• Support the Test Director with planning and executing at-sea FATs, performance testing, and certification checks.
• Manage and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) along with system software and hardware baseline milestones.
• Liaise between Engineering/R&D and Production teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
