Leidos' Undersea Systems Division in San Diego, CA seeks a Technical Project Manager to lead an R&D engineering group focused on underwater vehicle systems, maritime sensors, subsea telemetry, and ISR solutions supporting NIWC PAC.

The role bridges vehicle R&D and production, overseeing acceptance, testing, and certification of unmanned platforms, directing technicians, and ensuring government testing requirements are met on a fast-paced program.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain TOP SECRET clearance; active SECRET clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree or higher and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Process-oriented and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with NIWC vehicle SMEs to review vehicle system data and address issues.
• Support Test Director with planning and executing at-sea FATs, performance testing, and certification checks.
• Manage Master Production Schedule (MPS) along with system software and hardware milestones.
• Mentor and supervise 1+ personnel in daily activities and HR actions.
• Oversee vehicle production lab space and test equipment to align with production needs.
